so two weeks ago, i said i was getting netflix
they give you a free 2-week-trial to try it out
and now that that's over, i'm going to review all the movies i've rented in the past two weeks
because you know you care...(okay, just pretend that you care)
these are in the order i watched them...just because
wedding crashers was decent. out of ten, i'd give it the score of 7. it was funny but kinda lame at the same time. and rachel mcadams was, of course, hot in it and christopher walken was, of course, awesome in it. vince vaughn just annoys me. i think it was a chick flick disguised as a comedy.
four brothers was better than i expected. i really liked it even though it was really sad at certain parts. i kind of fell in love with the characters.
the basketball diaries was amazing. leo dicaprio was great in it. all of the actors were great in it. it's the best movie i've seen in a while. go see it. now.
party monster was uh...interesting. definitely the most bizarre movie i've ever seen. i liked it though. marilyn manson played a character named christina superstar. and macaulay culkin gave such a great performance as the main character. it was disturbing at times and majorly trippy during most of the movie. this one is kinda sad too, at some parts. it was pretty good though.
gia was a movie based on the life of a model in the 70s who's played by angelina jolie. she was gorgeous in it. and she was really convincing at becoming the character. there was a few things i'd change if i could but overall, i enjoyed it. it's such a depressing story, though.
east of eden was good. movies were so different in the 1950s when it came to subject matter and comedy so it wasn't my favorite movie but it was good and i can see why it's such a classic. it kind of made me want to read the book, too. cal (played by james dean) and abra (julie harris) were so likeable and both actors gave flawless performances.
boy meets world: season one! i'd already seen almost every episode on each of the three disks but it was great watching them all again. the commentary (on two of the episodes) was hilarious. i love season one and i'm hoping to netflix seasons two and three eventually, too. oh, and eric is soooo cute in season one, lol!
and last but certainly not least
the united states of leland was an awesome movie. i watched it this morning. i'd definitely recommend it. it's such a jena malone movie. i love all the movies i've ever seen her in. it's such an original story and so fascinating. it has some sad parts in it. i don't like chris klein. i'm making my parents watch it. it's really good.
i can't wait until i get to watch the next few movies in my queue
netflix is amazing
i've been so busy lately
too busy to sleep..
actually, it's not that i'm super busy
it's more like, my priorities are a little messed up
if i had to make a list, school would be at the bottom
speaking of school, things are so lame there
chemistry is impossible for me because i don't have prior knowledge like she expects and it's so un-interesting to me
and algebra 2 is hard
it's not even an honors class
i'm terrible at algebra
photo class is awesome
i love taking and developing photos with my oatmeal box camera
i've survived the first of two conan-less weeks (because of the olympics...boo)
it's tough, lol
but seriously, i can't wait until late night starts playing again
life is so much less dull when conan's on tv
